About The Project
Located within one of Calgary’s Neighborhood Activity Centres, QuantumPlace Developments was tasked with development management, municipal approvals (land use redesignation / development permit / building permit), environmental remediation, and construction management for this project located within an inner-city community.
The Windsor is approved to be a five-storey mix use project with at-grade retail/commercial and office above with a residential component along 51st Avenue SW. The Windsor, with 110,000 square feet of retail/commercial and office space and a vibrant streetscape will be an exciting community node for residents and a lively destination for Calgarians.
Our early engagement model provided community-members opportunity to provide early input into land use and design and helped facilitate an understanding between QuantumPlace Developments and the community. Not only is this engagement model important in the timeline and success in obtaining municipal approvals, this model also represents the sustainable development business practice, necessary to ensure long-term success and viability for the project.
